Gallery #4
The original kitchen of this typical colonial home
was located at the rear of the home along with a
small bath and dining room. The kitchen was gutted
to the studs and the wall between the kitchen and
dining room was removed. A new larger kitchen window
was installed and the entire space reconfigured into
an open area with a raised breakfast bar and message
center. The utilitarian white painted cabinetry was
replaced with natural maple cabinets from UltraCraft,
the counter tops are a combination of Coffee Bean
Caesarstone on the perimeter and Golden Butterfly
Granite for the breakfast bar. The backsplash uses
subway tile with decorative glass tile border added
for a dash of color and sophistication. KBDC also
brought the adjoining powder room up to code and up
to date. |
